I was born in Swindon and have lived here for over 40 years. I now live in Stratton St Margaret and have a partner. I have three grown up children nearby, and a granddaughter whom we love to spend as much time with as possible! Listening to live music is a passion of mine, and I formerly helped the RAF Association with their members club for over 10 years, which was a great social club for many until it sadly closed in 2022.

Having worked in financial services since 1989 when I joined Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society, I gained my CeMAP qualification in 2005 and CeRER in 2010. I worked for Nationwide Building Society from 2013-2021 and now love working as a mortgage, Later Life Lending Adviser and Protection adviser with HHH Mortgages.

My approach is to take time to understand each client’s circumstances and aspirations, whether they are first time buyers trying to buy their first home, home movers, or older homeowners wanting to secure a Later Life mortgage to release capital for their retirement. I share every client’s journey and take care to attend to the detail so that I can provide a fully bespoke service recommending the mortgage that best fits their needs.

Links with the local community

I work closely with local businesses and professionals such as accountants, solicitors and wealth managers, who recommend me to their clients to provide mortgage advice and support.

I am proud to support Armed Forces personnel with mortgage advice and to promote home ownership and financial stability in this important community and I particularly enjoy working with other local small businesses to provide them with support and advice.

Taking pride in providing excellent service

It’s important to me that every client sees me as their professional friend who will ‘dot all the I’s’ and ‘cross all the t’s’, making sure they are fully informed every step of their purchasing journey. I enjoy meeting people, building a positive relationship, and gaining a deep understanding of their aspirations so I can provide the best service and advice possible.

I always try to put myself in my clients’ shoes to ensure they have confidence in my support and understand everything they need to do at each stage of the process. I am always happy to be flexible out of normal office hours to fit around my client’s availability. No waiting in queues on the phone or wasting your holiday having to book an appointment in office hours if that doesn’t suit you.

Offering help and support no matter what your circumstance

Sometimes our financial lives can become very complicated without us intending this to happen. For me, there is nothing better than helping a client straighten out their debts and mortgage to give them a fresh start, or helping an older couple release equity from their home so they can help their grandchild buy their first home, repay their mortgage, or just enjoy their retirement doing the things they’ve dreamed of doing. Relieving clients of their worries and seeing them go off on a holiday of a lifetime or set off in their new motorhome when they had thought their retirement would mean living frugally is a wonderful feeling.

Building trusted relationships

Fundamentally I put my clients at the heart of everything I do and delight in their pleasure when they achieve their aspirations with my help and expertise.

I look forward to meeting you!
