I’ve lived in Gloucestershire since 1977 and in Cirencester since 1988. I’ve worked in banking all my working life and have been providing mortgage advice since 1992.

I achieved my CeMAP qualification in 2012 and have worked as an independent Mortgage Adviser since 2019. It’s true to say that helping people take control of their finances and achieve their home owning dreams is my vocation!

My work as a mortgage broker allows me to build long lasting relationships with my clients and become a trusted adviser, which is what I love most about my job. Helping my clients achieve their aspirations as their families expand and plans change is almost as fulfilling for me as it is for them, and I take pride in doing my best for every client.

Every client’s aspiration and situation are different and the beauty of being an independent adviser is that I can survey a comprehensive range of mortgage lenders for each client and find exactly the right product. I work hard to understand the dreams and circumstances of every one of my clients and pride myself on finding exactly the right mortgage for each of them. Being a local, I have great relationships with a network of solicitors and estate agents, and I work hard to ensure every client finds the right advisors and support. I know that completing a property purchase can be daunting, so I always make sure I explain everything clearly to each of my clients to make the process as straightforward as possible. I keep everyone informed, provide all the support each client needs, working to make the process as painless as possible

Honest, practical advice to help you make the right decisions

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of a move and sometimes clients can find themselves thinking with their hearts, so it’s my role to act as their head. This involves being honest and truthful about what they can really afford, but I will always strive to find a solution for each of my clients. For me the most important part of my role is building trust with my clients; I have their best interests at heart and it’s crucial that they provide me with all relevant information so we can work together effectively and make the process as painless as possible.
