Throughout the years, each member of our team at HHH Mortgages has been an active member of the local community.

With over four decades of experience and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals, HHH Mortgages has evolved from Mark’s passion and expertise to encompass a wide range of advisors able to discuss mortgages, later life lending, and insurance products.
We’re happy to say that despite growing year on year with new brokers and an admin team, our focus is still on providing person-centred mortgage advice and service. Every successful mortgage completion brings a sense of fulfilment to each and every one of us, and each client is valued as a unique individual.

Joe Stallard

Joe runs the family business, House and Holiday Home Mortgages, and provides expert advice across all mortgage types to help clients secure the best deals for their individual needs.

Since joining the business in 2017, he has worked closely with founder Mark to grow and strengthen the company, delivering a professional, customer-focused service while helping clients navigate the mortgage process with ease.

Together, their goal is to help as many people as possible to meet their mortgage needs and secure the best deal for them. Joe is passionate about meeting clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the often complex world of mortgages, making sure every client feels confident and informed.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending quality time with his family and their dog, keeping active outdoors, socialising with friends, and following his favourite sports, including Swindon Town, Gloucester Rugby, and Gloucestershire/Hampshire Cricket.

Mark Stallard

Mark joined C&G in 1982 and managed branches throughout the West Country. He learnt all about the mortgage world before leaving in 2005 to become Financial Services Director with a Wiltshire based estate agency group.

Despite the 2008 credit crunch where lenders and customers were in short supply, Mark’s expertise meant he formed a partnership with 2 chartered financial planners and built a successful business with a great reputation.

In 2015, however, Mark decided to go it alone and work solely in the mortgage field. House and Holiday Home Mortgages was born, and this has been the most successful period of Mark’s business life so far.

Having built a strong foundation and reputation in the sector, Mark has since moved into the role of Business Development Director, where he focuses on strengthening relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customers continue to receive expert advice and support.

Mark has an avid interest in the mortgage world and is always keen to read about industry trends, providing his expert knowledge and opinion. Mark is a people person; he loves to meet new customers and listen to their story, before seeking ways to help.

When he’s not working, Mark spends time with his wife Claire trying out good restaurants, enjoying the garden, trips to the theatre and weekends away. He loves all sports and plays tennis and golf (badly!). He regularly watches his beloved Swindon Town as well as cricket matches and horse racing.

Sally Hilliker

Sally began her banking career with Lloyds in 1987 and has worked in financial services ever since. She has been advising on mortgages since 1992, achieved her CeMAP qualification in 2012, and has worked as an independent Mortgage Adviser since 2019.

Having lived in Gloucestershire since 1977 and in Cirencester since 1988, Sally combines extensive industry experience with strong local knowledge. She has built lasting relationships with clients across the Cotswolds, supporting them as their circumstances change and their plans evolve.

Passionate about helping people take control of their finances, Sally is committed to turning home-owning ambitions into reality. As an independent adviser, she can access a comprehensive range of lenders to recommend solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Whether you are a first-time buyer, moving home or expanding a property portfolio, she works hard to find the right mortgage for your situation.

Sally understands that buying a home can feel daunting, so she focuses on clear, straightforward communication and keeps everyone informed throughout the process. Known for her honest and practical advice, she helps clients make confident, well-informed decisions.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, walking with friends, has a keen interest in ancient history and loves visiting Cornwall.

Janet Hardy

As a trusted adviser with many years of experience, Janet has helped clients navigate every stage of homeownership, from their first home to their forever home. She has been with HHH, proving her commitment to delivering clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.

Janet takes a thoughtful, detail-driven approach, spending time understanding her clients’ goals and helping them make informed decisions about their financial future. As a Later Life Accredited Adviser, she provides guidance on a wide range of mortgage and later-life lending options, including lifetime mortgages and equity release, alongside broader planning considerations to support long-term financial wellbeing.

Known for her approachable and reassuring style, Janet is dedicated to finding the right solution for each client, ensuring they feel supported and confident at every stage of the process.

Ben Walker

Ben’s interest in mortgages started in 2017 when he completed his qualifications and made a career change to work for TSB. Now with over 2 years success working at a mortgage brokers and successfully developing their operations, he is now bringing his experience to House and Holiday Home Mortgages. By aiming to deliver a professional and efficient service, Ben will handle our growing pipeline of applications and is focused on delivering a positive outcome to all our clients. You will often find Ben lurking in the depths of an excel data model, or pondering a far-flung language, and after he has spent quality time with his wife and children, he does enjoy putting on his running shoes and hitting the trails.

Lauren Poole

Lauren has built a great bank of knowledge and expertise, having worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years. She began her career in banking before moving into mortgage and protection administration.

She prides herself on delivering exceptional customer service time and time again, enjoying the opportunity to guide and support clients through the mortgage and protection process. Lauren is always happy to answer questions or provide reassurance, even if it’s just a friendly chat.

Lauren lives in Gloucester with her husband and their two children, Reuben and Clara. When she’s not juggling family life or work, she’s an avid music fan, enjoying multiple genres from K-pop to rock. She's a self-confessed bookworm who takes her kindle everywhere with her!

Caroline Paige

Caroline’s journey in Financial Services began in 1994, when she joined C&G in Swindon. She stayed within C&G for over 10 years, moving forward to Assistant Branch Manager and completing CEMAP in 2021 to become a fully qualified mortgage adviser. After leaving C&G she worked for a brief time as a mortgage and protection adviser for a local estate agency. In 2006 she took the brave step of becoming a self-employed adviser and enjoyed building a loyal bank of clients by putting the well-being of her customers at the very heart of how to do business, by establishing clients’ needs and designing a solution.

Caroline enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children and dog Milo! At weekends you will often find her at a football match, watching her son play football or very occasionally at the Emirates stadium, watching her beloved Arsenal.

Beth Taylor

Beth joined the team in early 2025 and brings a strong blend of property and finance experience to House and Holiday Home Mortgages. She began her career in the property sector in 2012, working in estate agency before moving into residential conveyancing, which gave her a detailed understanding of the buying and selling process from multiple angles.

Beth later transitioned into mortgages and protection and quickly found she enjoyed helping people understand their options and feel confident in the decisions they make. Whether supporting First Time Buyers, home movers, Buy to Let investors or clients looking to remortgage, Beth takes pride in offering a friendly, professional service with clear communication from start to finish.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys being active and spending time outdoors, particularly hiking. She also keeps herself busy in the gym and enjoys the challenge of strength training.

Ricia Gibbs

Ricia Gibbs is the face behind Wiltshire Mortgages, working in partnership with House and Holiday Home Mortgages as part of the wider HHH Mortgages family. Wiltshire Mortgages operates under the HHH Mortgages umbrella, meaning clients benefit from a personal, local service with the backing, knowledge and support of an experienced brokerage.

Ricia is passionate about providing straightforward, tailored mortgage advice and supporting clients through what can often feel like a complex and stressful process. She focuses on building long-term relationships and takes the time to understand each customer’s circumstances, priorities and plans before recommending the most suitable route forward.

With the additional resources and support available through HHH Mortgages, Ricia is able to combine one-to-one service with the reassurance of a wider team. The result is a reliable, approachable mortgage service with the same values and commitment to customer care that HHH Mortgages is known for.

Outside of work, Ricia enjoys walking her dog, exploring the local countryside, and spending quality time with family and friends. She values clear communication and aims to make the mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible for every client she meets.
